How a Moxi Loxi Fitting Works: From First Conversation to Follow Up
A fitting should give you clarity, not pressure. Our process is designed to help you understand which hair solution suits your coverage needs, appearance, lifestyle, comfort, maintenance preferences before you decide.
1. Begin with a private conversation
We discuss what has changed, how you want your hair to look, how it should feel. We talk about how much time you want to spend on care. We ask whether you prefer removable or extended wear. You are welcome to bring inspiration photographs, a previous piece, a list of medications or treatment questions, the products you currently use.
Moxi Loxi provides cosmetic hair solutions, education. We do not diagnose a medical condition. Sudden, painful, patchy, or otherwise concerning hair loss should also be discussed with a licensed healthcare professional.
2. Compare the solution categories that fit your goals
- Wigs provide full coverage. They may be removable or designed for semi permanent wear.
- Toppers provide targeted coverage, blending with biological hair.
- Hair extensions add volume or length when the biological hair can support the selected method.
- Men’s hair replacement can be designed for removable or extended wear.
- Custom solutions address specific needs in fit, construction, color, texture, coverage, or attachment.
We explain the tradeoffs in security, flexibility, sleep, washing, styling, maintenance appointments, long term ownership. You can then compare more than the initial appearance.
3. Assess fit and comfort
Fit is more than circumference. Cap depth, front to nape length, ear placement, coverage area, intended attachment all matter. We also evaluate density, hairline, parting, cap materials, color, texture, weight.
For remote guidance, start with Moxi Loxi Method. It helps us collect the information needed for a more useful virtual fitting.
4. Personalize the result
Depending on the piece, the service, personalization may include cutting, styling, color refinement, density adjustment, clip placement, cap adjustment, attachment planning, or education on putting the piece on, taking it off. The goal is for the hair to work with your features, your daily life, rather than look like an untouched product.
5. Learn the care routine before you leave
Most human hair care principles remain consistent. Storage, attachment care depend on the wearing method.
- Removable wigs and toppers: use THE VOYAGE as the primary storage system for home, for travel, when the piece is off the head.
- Semi permanent wigs, toppers, and hair systems: follow the installer’s wash, bond, removal, maintenance schedule. THE VOYAGE is not needed while the piece is attached.
- Hair extensions: protect tape, bonds, beads, attachment areas. Use the Hair Hanger for clip ins, removed extension hair, or hair being saved for reuse. Use replacement tape only with compatible tape in methods, under professional guidance.
For cleansing, for styling, the recommended Moxi Loxi routine includes Pure Wash, Pure Conditioner, Foundation Mist, Aura Restore, Tease Volume & Body Mist, Fixation.
6. Plan maintenance and follow up
Before you leave, you should know what to do daily, when to wash, what to avoid, when professional maintenance is due, who to contact if the fit or attachment changes. Follow up may include cleaning, restyling, repairs, attachment service, color review, or planning a second piece for rotation.
