Yes. A 30-minute consultation is $49, and a 60-minute consultation is $100. Payment is completed when you book. After you attend, the full consultation fee becomes a credit toward a Moxi Loxi wig, topper or piece for 90 days.

Yes. After you attend, the full consultation fee becomes a purchase credit valid for 90 days. We apply it directly to your eligible Moxi Loxi wig, topper or piece, so there is no code to save or redeem.

You may reschedule up to 24 hours before your appointment, and your consultation fee will move with the appointment. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment, the fee will be refunded.

Cancellations made within 24 hours and missed appointments are non-refundable because that time has been reserved exclusively for you.

Yes. The Medical Hair Loss Consultation is complimentary for individuals experiencing hair loss related to chemotherapy, alopecia, radiation or another medical circumstance. No referral or supporting documentation is required to book.

Repeat custom orders may move more quickly when your approved measurements, pattern, and production specifications are already on file with Moxi Loxi and the factory. Yes. Moxi Loxi provides personalized full cranial prostheses for individuals experiencing hair loss associated with alopecia, cancer treatment, and other medical circumstances. A full cranial prosthesis is terminology commonly used for a wig prescribed for medically related hair loss.

Moxi Loxi maintains a National Provider Identifier and the provider and business documentation used to support eligible reimbursement requests. When appropriate, we can provide an itemized invoice and available supporting purchase documentation for you to submit to your health plan. Coverage, required documentation, covered amounts, and reimbursement are determined by your plan and are not guaranteed.

If your oncology team expects treatment to cause hair loss, it may be helpful to schedule a consultation while you still have your hair so we can document its color, length, texture, and style. Timing differs for every person and treatment plan, so confirm medical timing and scalp-care questions with your oncology team.

Pure Wash is designed for the buildup that can accompany extended wear and less-frequent washing. It helps remove accumulated sebum, sweat, dead skin cells, styling residue, and environmental debris from biological hair, intact scalp, and compatible wigs, toppers, hairpieces, extensions, and hair-replacement systems. A freshly cleansed scalp also creates a clean foundation so topical scalp-care products can apply evenly and make direct contact with the scalp.

Growth Factors+ provides targeted topical support, while Hair Fortify+ provides nutritional support from within with biotin, minerals, amino acids, and botanical ingredients.*

There is no single schedule. Wash when a light refresh no longer restores movement or style, when the base or scalp no longer feels fresh, or when sweat, oil, dead skin cells, odor and styling residue have accumulated. Exercise, humidity, frequent wear and attachment method may move wash day closer.

Use Pure Wash, follow with Pure Conditioner through the mid lengths and ends, then apply Foundation Mist as the lightweight leave in. Follow the step by step wash guide. Semi permanent systems and installed extensions should follow the washing, product placement and drying directions for their attachment method.

For a removable wig or topper, THE VOYAGE is the primary storage and styling system. Semi permanent systems and installed extensions do not need THE VOYAGE while attached. Use the Hair Hanger for clip ins, removed extensions or extension hair being saved for later use. Build the complete routine.

It depends on the piece and attachment method. Chlorine, salt water, sweat, heat, friction, and repeated tension can affect the hair, cap, adhesives, and lifespan. Ask us which option is appropriate for your activity and whether a separate activity piece would be more practical.

Most removable wigs and toppers last longer when removed before sleep. Friction and tension can contribute to tangling, matting, shedding and wear. Store a completely dry removable piece in THE VOYAGE, where its shape is supported and protected.

If you sleep in a semi permanent or integrated system, follow the nighttime and maintenance instructions for that system. A Silk Sleep Set may help reduce friction, but it does not replace proper detangling, complete drying and attachment care.

There is no universal lifespan. Longevity depends on the hair, construction, frequency of wear, styling, heat, products, maintenance, storage, environment, and customization.

Many individuals eventually choose to maintain a second piece. This allows one to be worn while the other is being cleaned, repaired, refreshed, or restyled. A restored piece may also become a practical option for exercise, travel, swimming, or other activities that place more stress on the hair.

Yes. Moxi Loxi offers a broad range of maintenance, repair, and customization services. Depending on the piece, services may include cleaning, conditioning treatments, styling, cutting, color services, clip or comb replacement, fit alterations, density adjustments, lace repair, hair addition, and other restoration work.

You may bring your piece to our Danville, California studio or contact us about shipping it to us. More extensive work may be coordinated directly with one of our specialized factories. We will assess the piece, explain what can reasonably be completed, and provide available options, estimated timing, and pricing before work begins.

Ask whether your plan covers a wig or full cranial prosthesis, whether a prescription or prior authorization is required, which diagnosis or billing information is needed, the covered amount, out-of-network rules, submission deadlines, and where to send the claim. Record the representative’s name and the reference number for the conversation.

If something does not feel quite right, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will listen, evaluate what you are experiencing and help determine the appropriate fit or finish refinement.

If an approved adjustment requires your piece to return to us, you may request a prepaid domestic return label within the 30-day Fit & Finish period. Appropriate protections remain in place for an item that arrives damaged, is incorrect, or may have a manufacturing defect.
