How to use Tease
For maximum root lift
Apply lightly to damp roots. Lift each section away from the base, then blow dry while directing the hair into the shape you want. Begin with a small amount. You can add more, but removing excess product usually requires washing.
To refresh volume on dry hair
Mist sparingly at the roots or through the area that has fallen flat. Use your fingers, a suitable brush, or controlled heat that is appropriate for the exact hair fiber, the construction. Allow the product to dry before deciding whether more is needed.
For curls and flexible texture
Mist lightly, then scrunch or reshape the hair. Tease is intended to support movement, not freeze the style. Finish with Fixation when the completed look needs brushable hold.
How Tease fits the complete routine
- Cleanse when needed: Use Pure Wash when sweat, oil, dead skin cells, environmental debris, styling residue, have accumulated.
- Condition: Apply Pure Conditioner through the mid lengths, the ends, then rinse thoroughly.
- Hydrate, detangle: Apply Foundation Mist lightly through towel dried lengths, ends.
- Create volume: Apply Tease where lift, body, are needed.
- Finish: Use Fixation sparingly for flexible, brushable control.
If odor is the only concern, if the hair is not ready for washing, use Aura Restore instead of adding more styling product.
Guidance by wear type
Removable wigs and toppers: Style the piece on a stable stand when practical. The suction styling stand, the Eco Brush, are included in THE VOYAGE.
Semi permanent wigs, toppers, and hair systems: Most of the same lightweight styling guidance applies. Avoid saturating tape, adhesive, bonds, knots, or the base. Follow the product placement directions for the attachment method. THE VOYAGE is not needed while the system is attached.
Hair extensions: Support the attachment points while styling. Avoid soaking bonds, tape, beads, or wefts. Dry the roots, the attachment areas, completely.
What to avoid
- Applying several heavy products when one lightweight product will solve the problem
- Repeatedly layering Tease without brushing through or cleansing when buildup is present
- Saturating lace, knots, tape, adhesive, bonds, beads, wefts, or the base
- Using heat before confirming the safe temperature for human hair, heat friendly synthetic, or traditional synthetic fiber
