Alternative hair is not always washed at the end of the day. A conventional hairspray that relies on a heavy, plastic like film can be repeatedly layered before the hair is cleansed. Over time, the hair may feel coated, look dull, become harder to brush, require more force during detangling. That added friction, that tension, can contribute to tangling, breakage.

How to use Fixation
- Complete the shape, the volume, of the style first.
- Hold Fixation away from the hair. Apply a light, even mist.
- Allow it to dry before touching or adding another layer.
- Before the next application, gently brush through the previous product where the hair, the construction, allow.
- Wash with Pure Wash when the hair feels coated, loses movement, or no longer responds to a light refresh.
Begin with less than you think you need. A fine mist placed accurately gives better control than saturating the entire style.
Build the style in the right order
Foundation Mist: After washing, apply Foundation Mist through towel dried lengths, ends, for lightweight hydration, softness, detangling support.
Tease: Apply Tease Volume & Body Mist where alcohol free root lift, body, or flexible texture is needed.
Fixation: Use Fixation last to hold the finished shape while keeping it brushable.
Luster Mist: If the lengths, the ends, need polish, apply Luster Mist sparingly rather than adding more hairspray.
Guidance by wear type
Removable wigs and toppers: Style on a stable stand when practical, then store the completely dry piece in THE VOYAGE. The included Eco Brush helps release the style gently before more product is applied.
Semi permanent wigs, toppers, and hair systems: The same light finishing method applies, but avoid saturating tape, adhesive, knots, bonds, or the base. THE VOYAGE is not needed while the system is attached.
Hair extensions: Support bonds, tape, beads, wefts, while brushing. Apply the spray to the styled hair, not directly into attachment points.
When it is time to wash
Fixation is designed to stay brushable, but no styling product should be layered indefinitely. Cleanse when the hair loses movement, looks dull, feels coated, or does not return to shape after brushing, after a light refresh. Use Pure Wash. Follow with Pure Conditioner. Apply Foundation Mist after towel blotting.
